No TV?

Next week is TV Turnoff Week. Since I don't watch TV the remainder of the year, I can be non-conformist and watch two Bill Moyers programs that week. Buying the War, which promises to make everyone who watches question, begins for me Wednesday night at 8pm, though for most other parts of the country, I understand it begins at 9pm. Check your own listings.
On Friday, I can watch Bill Moyers Journal, or I can sign up for his podcast!
His is a voice of leadership and not simply in the realm of journalistic leadership. He has been sorely missed!

Now, if anyone thinks I will turn off my mom's tv next week they can flat forget it. It's her pacifier. I will use anything I can to keep myself sane. That includes overhearing hour upon hour of HGTV which is a test of my sanity too, but it's much easier to tune out than listening to her yell.
