Human beings will be happier - not when they cure cancer or get to Mars or eliminate racial prejudice or flush Lake Erie but when they find ways to inhabit primitive communities again. That's my utopia.

Why do I think Dennis Kucinich is a viable candidate?

He absolutely riled the crowd at the convention, more so than Clark or Dean, both of whom I caught just before him. Dennis had presence, was well spoken, and definitely made his points clear. He doesn't feel the need to bash anyone, his positions on the issues stand for themsleves. He speaks of vision and the need for viable programs, and has laid out his plans on his website. He has experience winning political races against incumbent Republicans. He certainly didn't bore me. His passion is contagious. American people are ready for passion, values, and reuniting with the world community, and they are ready for a leader who can do it.

Morality and values that are in everyone's heart is what Dennis speaks to. He sees a United States that isn't based on greed; military, or corporate. Compatible world citizenship, basic human rights and a safe world free from nuclear weapons; 'it's easy if you try'.

In his debate with Dean I was similarly impressed. I was struck by certain things Dean said that made me think, 'he's listening to Dennis'. I find that hopeful. I do still see immaturity and contradictions in Dean that bother me. If Dennis has the message that everyone wants, then it's he we elect.

This past week when Dennis was in Michigan there were signs that his support is blooming. The media is beginning to take notice. His name is becoming noticed. I'm still not sure why the media tried to write him off but it isn't in their favor to ignore him any longer. The slights are noticed and the media loses viability each time they slight him. It's time to remember who we are as Dennis would say. We can't allow the media elect our president. We also can't allow Diebold machines to elect our president, but that's another rant altogether. Unelectable
