The past few days have been confusing with conflicting messages and no good way to process my thoughts. From Paul Wellstone's death, to a successful peace rally in Ann Arbor, with about 2500 people in attendance, the emotions run deep. My first thought of Paul Wellstone's death was, "no way, it's just too coincidental to be accidental". I find it very sad that the current events led me to that thought. I know I'm not the only one who questions. Maybe I don't understand the timing protocol of such questions.
The peace rally was heartening and Craig got some great video that he's editing which captures the essence of it. It may be too big to post on the web, we'll see. Chris Buhalis' song Talkin' Sounds Just Like Joe McCarthy Blues at mp3.com, hyped the crowd. The rally wasn't exactly the group hug that burningbird had hoped for in St Louis, but it felt like a good beginning.
